Maybe you have seen some of these and similar messages on t-shirts being worn by both guys and gals around the college campus. This is one of the latest fashion trends to hit the college campus scene. Walking around on campus has become more like driving in your car. By walking around on campus reading everyone's t-shirts you sort of get the feel that you are driving in your car reading billboards on the side of the road. It all started with name brands popping up on shirts, pants and more. Now it has transitioned from the name brand of the company that makes the clothes to funny messages popping up on the front of t-shirts.

When Ambercrombie & Fitch launched their line of message t-shirts a few months ago, many didn't think that the sayings were so amusing though. Many college students of the female persuasion actually boycotted the store. I'm sorry, they "girlcotted" Ambercrombie & Fitch for their decision to put out a line of message t-shirts that the girls stated were offensive to women.

Apparently the rest of the retail stores didn't get the memo because that certainly didn't stop them from launching their own lines of message t-shirts, or at least from selling message t-shirts. Talk about making a statement with your clothes. These t-shirts literally allow college students to put their statements on their clothes for the world to see and read. Girls and guys are both in on the trend. You see just as many girls walking on campus with funny sayings on their t-shirts as you do guys.

You'll find girls wearing the trendy message t-shirts with pencil skirts, short skirts, skinny jeans, jeans and shorts. You'll find guys wearing the message t-shirts with jeans, shorts, khakis and more. Since the layered look is in for both guys and girls alike this year, you may even see a guy or gal with a long sleeved shirt on under the message t-shirt and a jacket over the top of that. This, of course, depends on the weather as well. So whether college students are heading off to class, heading off to the movies or hanging out with friends, message t-shirts are still the rage on college campuses around the country.

The truth is that you may learn a lot from the messages that you read on their t-shirts. It may be their warning label on how they are feeling that day, or what their opinion in general is on a certain topic. And it doesn't get any better than having a message t-shirt to literally make a statement with your clothes this fall season.
